Craftable Rings

Postby SittingBull on Mon Oct 29, 2007 10:30 pm

Some ideas I had for craftable rings. These would be a nice alternative to just a gold or silver ring.

Ring of Might: 30 HP 1-1 Dmg 1 STR
-5 Fire Crystals
-5 Gold rings
-5 Twin Horns
-5 Cyclops Eyes

Ring of Dexterity: 30 HP 5 AGI 2 ACC
-2 Green Crystals
-5 Imp Stings
-20 Rat tails
-1 Robot Chain (proto drop)

Ring of Knowledge: 10 HP 30 TP 2 WIS
-5 Water Crystals
-1 Fish
-10 Aqua Hands
-1 Dragon Claw

Ring of Protection: 30 HP 2 CON 2 DEF
-5 Silver Rings
-5 Handcuffs
-10 Metal Parts
-5 Cranes

Ring of Destruction: 20HP 10TP 2 INT
-5 Orc Ears
-10 Ice Crystals
-20 Dead Flies
-2 Orbs of Light

All these would be craftable at a new NPC known as the Archeaologist who will be located somewhere deep into Dizzy Desert. You will only have the option to craft after you complete a quest for him. His Quest will be of moderate difficulty, mostly it would be to talk to a few other NPCs then acquire an ancient lost item he's been searching for. (this would be something untradeable and only used for this quest, like the Treasure map for the Pirate Quest).

More jewelry would be cool. With different stats, etc.

Sounds really cool. I'll go ahead and agree with that.

Also, did you know that SittingBull was the name of a famous Indian?

Very well thought out quest, and items. Good job. I especially would enjoy the Ring of Dexterity as i'm an Archer.

:warcool: That would be awsome to have rings like that. I'd were a Ring of Dexterity and a Ring of Protection.[How much do you think these would cost on global?] :warcool:

I don't think making them lore would be good, because they will be kinda tough to make, plus you have to do the quest just to be able to craft them.

As for how much they would cost on global, who knows? It would probably be just like normal, really expensive at first then as time goes on and more get crafted the price will drop.

These ideas are cool.

Just change the names of the Rings so it doesn't sound like that EO is copying directly from Flyff's items.
